Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Leah (female)
Hello, my name is Leah and I am a female German Shepherd. I don't know how old I am, maybe 2 1/2 years. My current owner rescued me when I was abandoned by my original owner. My current owner took me to the vet where I was spayed. I have a very mild case of heartworms (like one heartworm) and I must take medication monthly. My original owner abused me and I am skittish and am afraid of noises like lawn mowers. I'm very smart and even graduated from Petco's Dog Training. I live inside in a large kennel where I feel safe and secure. My owner can't let me be alone in the back yard because I can climb a fence. I get along very well with the other dog in my house, an elderly Miniature Schnauzer. I need to be adopted by someone who is kind but who knows how to handle large dogs. I will take my kennel and my igloo dog house with me when I'm adopted. Contact: Johnnie Covington 318-865-5955 or email to JHCOV@aol.com. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30.00 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home.
