Fiona is a beautiful and fully feathered blue and gold macaw, she is very young, less than a few years old. She wants to be held, but then shys away, so she will need some more socialization, but she is not aggressive in any way, just a little scared. She is eating a pelleted diet and has started to like fresh fruits and vegetables. She does say some words and likes to whistle. Macaws can live for quite some time, up to 75 years, so please take this into account when trying to decide what bird or birds are best for your family. Fiona would make a great lifetime companion, she just needs someone with lots of patience and love to give!
