Flash looks like an English CoonHound and certainly has the baying call of a hound dog. He came to the shelter in February 2011, is about two-years-old and weighs a healthy 58lbs. Flash responds well to his name and knows sit but he can be distracted by scents and sounds – a typical hound-trait. He likes petting and will take kibble as a treat both of which can be used as rewards during training. Flash is looking for a family who can offer plenty of exercise and a fenced yard as a hound will always follow his nose.
