Rudy is a beautiful parrot and has a very loud voice. This species of bird tends to be very affectionate and playful as long as they are given the attention they need from their owners. Although they are not known for their talking ability, Rudy will say “good morning” and a couple of other words. He easily “steps up” to a perch and to your hand, as well. He will call out whenever you go by the cage. Rudy is pretty mellow, but as with all Amazons, body language is important and you will learn to read when he wants to be picked up and played with or when he prefers not to be messed with. Rudy’s future family will give him at least a few hours of out of the cage time each day or early evening and will give him some playtime then, as well. Please consider adopting this beautiful bird if you have no issues with animal sounds where you live! You’ll be glad you do as he will make a loving addition to your home!
