2/27/11 - Hi friends.........Jack here!!!

I am a 2 year old male from the wandering streets of Columbia, SC. I was picked up in the middle of a cold, dark night by the county animal shelter and taken to doggie jail for 3 weeks. I was microchipped when I was found, but unfortunately my parents never registered my microchip so we weren't able to call them to come get me. As the days went by I continued to wonder if my parents would come calling, but sadly they never did. A nice lady from Yorkie Haven Rescue called just in time though to "Bail Me Out". That nice lady is now my Foster Mommy!

Foster Mommy took me home and bathed me... and gave me some yummy dog food. She introduced me to my Foster Fur Sisters and let me play with them. The cool part is that they look just like me!!! She made me an appointment at the barber shop to get my haircut and then to the dogtor for a checkup. Everything with me checked out great! The dogtor did say that I could stand for a dental cleaning though, so I am going to get that done. That way, when I get adogted... I mean adopted, I will have nice doggie breath to give kisses with.

Foster Mommy says I am a very sweet boy who loves to snuggle and give kisses. I fuss at her when she leaves the house, but it's only because I will miss her.... so I just end up sleeping all day and waiting for her to come home to play with me! I am still a little uncertain about those things call treats... Foster Mommy doesn't think I used to get them at my previous home, but I am starting to really like them.

Ok, well I need to get back to playing with my Foster Fur Sisters now... but if you think you could stand to love one sweet little soul, please apply to adopt me. I promise I will make you very happy. Until then....... sending kisses your way.
