Miller's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Miller's Story...
Miller is a big, strong boy; however, is easy to handle. He tolerates noise and touch well. Because he is well-socialized, he would make a great family dog.

See what Miller's really like in this video made during an offsite play date with a volunteer's own dog.

Miller received his long-awaited, complex orthopaedic surgery to improve his leg courtesy of K-9 PALS medical fund. He is in a home with his K-9 PALS volunteer foster family while he recuperates.
Please consider adopting Miller to your family. K-9 PALS thought that he was such a good dog that they paid for the surgery even before he had a forever home. Complete a no-obligation
application and fax in the shelter 805-681-5283 for approval so that you will be first in line for this great dog !

Would you like to help Miller, but cannot adopt? You can make a donation to help offset his surgery expense. Visit our donate page; you can event donate online!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miller, a Santa Barbara Great Dane/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Santa Barbara, or seeking a Great Dane/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Santa Barbara.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Barbara already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Barbara breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Great Dane/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Barbara paves the way for another one to be saved.
