BEN's Story...
BEN....what a great little guy! and thank heaven for his foster mom or his little journey would have taken a turn for the worst. Ben was treated well at all....left in a cage & tormented......but his foster mom scooped in a was his guardian angel! Ben has done so well!!! and is living life to the fullest and bound for greatness. He is such a happy dog!! Loves car rides, does well with other dogs and is fine with cats....BUT he does not know his own strength at times and can play a little rough at times with the cats. A "cat-free" home but would be better BUT we will talk about it if you have cats & want to give this handsome guy a fur-ever home!!! Please make room in your heart for this guy....and continue this remarkable journey with him!! He is waitning for YOU!!! Contact us for a meet & greet......trying to load pics of him but they will not compress to size so please contact and we will send you pics.....THANK YOU for wanting to adopt!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BEN, a Winchester German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Winchester, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
