Dottie's Story...
My story: Dottie is a Tabby female about 2 years old. She is Little Bit's sister. She was left behind when her owner was evicted. She grew up with a medium size dog, but has since been around only a small dog. Dottie is very vocal and loving, but does not like to be held like her sister does. They are both spayed and up to date on rabies. They were spayed at ACT. For more information contact Cheryl at 813-315-8769 .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Tampa Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
