Dude's Story...
Dude is a 3-4 year old Shepherd – Rottweiler mix who was found on the streets of South Los Angeles as a stray dog. He is very loving, friendly with all people, lives with a female dog and would probably do best living in a home with a female dog or as an only dog. He is a really good boy, pretty mellow, walks nicely on a leash, takes treats softly, an all around good boy who has never had a real home of his own. Dude weighs about 55lbs and would be considered a medium sized dog. He has now been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped. Please e-mail Lori@modernica.net for more information and to schedule a time to meet this wonderful dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dude, a Los Angeles Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Rottweiler/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
