My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This Dingo won't eat your baby. If you've been searching for an unique looking dog, STOP! You've found Dora! Check out the video - Dora is not as big as she looks in the pictures.

Dora was rescued from the streets of Taiwan by our rescue partner there. She's made the long trip to Vancouver and is currently in a foster home with Chisel, the Lab. Watch the video! PLEASE NOTE: the video is of Dora during playtime. She is NOT a high energy dog. In fact, after a good romp she is a couch potato!

Conditions in Taiwan are not safe for animals. WARNING : The following PETA article contains disturbing images & descriptions -

Here's what Dora's foster mom recently said,

"Dora is doing really well. She came out of her shell and is now a playful and rambunctious girl. I discovered that she actually has a voice. She would whine and demands my attention. She knows her name and I do let her off leash in the park. She is very well socialized with other dogs. She generally distrusts men, but would selectively approach them.

Dora is very affectionate towards me, which is really sweet. Today I was very excited that she seemed to have mastered the sit command. It was really amazing as I remember thinking to myself there was no way she could calm down enough to learn anything. I was wrong again."

Dora is a sweet & gentle girl. If you can give her a safe & loving home please fill out an adoption application at, www.penniesfordogs.org/adoption_application.html
