ALLIE's Story...
adorable little girl needs a great home. She found herself in the shelter with parvovirus; the staff took care of her and she is recovering well. She will need a foster or adopting family willing to be patient with her the next few weeks as she gets her health back. She should not go to a home with any other young puppies, old immuno-compromised dogs, or unvaccinated dogs. She is one adorable puppy unlikely to last long--so act quickly if you are interested in this young lady. Allie will require both a refundable spay deposit and a refundable training deposit along with her adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ALLIE, a San Diego Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
