Faith's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Faith's Story...
Faith is an 8 month old Pittie. She is very sweet and smart. Faith came to us from a very neglectful owner. Faith was starved and more then likely abused. Her "owner" would not even by her dog food so she was fed hot dogs and chips to live off of. Faith is doing much better now and loves people so much. She gets along fine with other dogs, cats can be tested if needs be. Faith has some training that needs to be done, such as manners and housebreaking, but she is making great progress! Faith is a very sweet girl and just deserves a chance at a real life. Faith will be spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed prior to adoption. If you are interested in Faith, please contact Angela, our Canine Adoption Coordinator, at a_duffek@rornfp.org. Please note, we do not have a building, so there are no "viewing hours". Please email for an application as our volunteers may not be able to return your call promptly. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Faith, a Oak Lawn Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Oak Lawn, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Oak Lawn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Lawn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Lawn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Lawn paves the way for another one to be saved.
