Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maya. She is the mom of the "poetry puppies". She is very sweet,loving, and gorgeous (I will try to get better pictures to show how pretty she is). She is around 3 years old. We just found out that Maya is Hearthwom positive (when will people learn to give preventative medication to their dogs?!). She will get treated soon and will be ready for adoption in a couple of weeks.

UPDATE FROM FOSTER MOM : Maya is doing well in her foster home. She is adjusting to life inside a home with foster brothers and sisters. She is slowly discovery what toys are and how fun they can be. Clearly she never played with a stuffed toy before. She is also learning when to run to the kitchen to get a treat. It is so much fun to watch her learn how fun life can be. Maya loves people and she is very gentle.
