Well, hello to you. My name is Mabel. I know, it’s kind of a funny name for a young girl like me, but I think it suits me. I am a lady in the old-fashioned sense of the word, so a name like Mabel fits me just fine. I am quite pleased that you are taking time to get to know me today and I do hope that we become the best of friends!

As I said, I am very sweet young lady that is trying to find her way in this crazy world. I came to MaxFund after being rescued by a woman who helps stray cats find homes. I think I’ve lived on the streets most of my life, so I am not completely comfortable inside yet, but I am working on it! I do appreciate having a warm, safe place to live and I know deep down that being around people is a good thing, I just have to get familiar with things a bit more before I am completely relaxed in my surroundings. Here at MaxFund, I often spend time in cubby holes and on perches, where I feel safe.

Make sure that you look all around for me when you come to visit. The best way to make friends with me is just to sit and talk to me for a bit while I get comfortable with you. Like I said, I’m an old fashioned girl. Once I have a home of my own I will blossom into a lovely lady for sure.
