My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approx DOB: September 2010

Lucy Lou stated life as a stray kitten living in a feral colony of cats. While FFN volunteers were working to trap, neuter, and return cats in the colony, they found Lucy Lou lying in the snow, near death from a severe upper respiratory infection. After veterinary and FFN foster care, she is now a healthy, happy little girl who is rapidly becoming accustomed to life as a pampered indoor pet. She is a petite little girl and will probably remain petite as an adult. Lucy Lou is shy and is careful about new environments and people. Once she knows you, she loves to have you pet her and scratch her cheeks. She loves to curl up in bed and cuddle at night. She has a loud purr and a beautiful, adorable little face that can’t be refused. Lucy Lou gets along very well with the other cats in her foster home, plays with toys, and just loves to chase a feather wand.

Lucy Lou is a wonderful little kitten looking for the right person to share her love. She will do very in a home with other kitties, but will require a slow introduction until she feels comfortable and secure. If you have the patience and time to give this little girl the attention and affection she deserves, she will become your loving companion for life.

This kitty has had initial vaccinations, de-worming, flea preventative, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and been micro-chipped and altered (or will be micro-chipped and altered prior to adoption).

Adoption fee is 1/2 off for the second kitty adopted at same time. Adoption application, phone interview, home visit, and adoption fee required (+ PA Sales tax).

If you are interested in adopting a kitty(s), we ask that you complete an on-line adoption application to get the process started. To apply, simply go to www.furryfriendsnetwork.com / ADOPT tab / CAT Adoption Application. You will receive a welcome email once your application has been assigned to a volunteer processor (this should be within 72 hours of submitting an application). If you do not receive such an email, contact ffncats@yahoo.com. Once your application has been processed (this can take approx. 10-14 days), we will arrange contact with the foster to schedule a time to meet kitties you might be interested in. We are an all volunteer organization and appreciate your patience during this process.

Foster Homes are needed in order to help more animals like this one. Please consider opening your heart and home to a homeless animal. Check out our website on how to become a Foster Parent!
