Cosmos's Story...
Cosmos was rescued as a feral kitten living under the steps of a retail business. Now, watching him burrow under the covers at night it is hard to believe he was ever anything other than someone's cherished pet. Cosmos is a very intelligent dignified little cat with a gentle, affectionate and outgoing personality. He likes his scratching post and rarely has to be told 'No' twice before he catches on. Of course, being a kitten there are times he decides to 'forget' he was told no if something is just too much fun! Although he gets along well with the two older cats at his foster home he would not mind being an 'only child' as he enjoys being the center of attention. Cosmos likes having his ears cleaned and his face washed and will even let you clip his claws if he's not in play mode at the time.

The adoption fee for this cat is $85. An approved application is required. Adoption forms and policies can be found here More information about Cincinnati Cats can be found from our homepage at For additional information:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cosmos, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
