My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ray, a 7 month old boxer mix puppy, was found behind a local business, cowering in some bushes. He froze up and shook when his rescuer approached him, and he could tell Ray hadn't been fed in awhile. The rescuer knew there was no way he was going to survive, so he took him home. Ray got a clean bill of health at the vet -- he weighs about 30 lbs and is starting to fill out nicely. His rescuer/foster dad has been working with him to build his confidence. He plays well with other dogs and LOVES playing with people when he gets to know them a bit. He loves to rough house with paws flying! He is still very timid and scares easily, but his foster dad has been spending hours working with him and he is getting more comfortable with people every day. He is also working on house training and Ray hasn't had an accident since the first day or two at his foster home. He is also doing well with crate training. He minds very well. Physically, he is a beautiful dog with a great build. He has a great fawn coat with almost no white on his tummy and paws. His ears are a bit "wonky," as his foster dad puts it --: one sticks up and one lays down -- it's adorable! Ray's foster dad wants to make sure he goes to a great home with people who will love him and be willing to continue to work with this shy, sweet boy. Please note that Ray is being fostered in Tennessee; therefore, you would not be able to meet him prior to adoption. The $450 adoption fee covers the cost of neutering, all immunizations, and the cost of transport to your area.
