SHADY's Story...
There are those that you come in contact with that have four legs that inspire you and Shady is one such girl. She was found along the road with her puppies huddled in a nest. When someone went to get her she wouldn't leave without her pups. We are thrilled that those nasty people who first owned her set her free. She is an inspiringly sweet girl who is dedicated to helping her puppies survive.
Shady has a beautiful flowing black coat with fabulous brown eyes that have a heart inside of them. She is housetrained and is good inside and outside during the day. She needs to gain weight and once her puppies leave will need some TLC. Shady will be ready to go home with you the end of February.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SHADY, a San Diego Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
