Drew's Story...

Want to learn more about Drew? He currently has his own blog on our facebook page. Like us to follow his day to day life at the adoption center. Cute pictures are posted often; including several of Drew snuggling with his girl friend Zelda.

In fact Drew and Zelda have become so close while at our shelter that we would love to see them go home together.

Drew and his sister Dhalia were two tiny and scared little tikes (born Dec 2010) when they were first brought into our shelter. They took some extra time and attention to acclimate to their surroundings. Drew is a fun loving cat. Rub his nose and you will be a friend for life! He is playful and sweet. With a lot of love, Drew will become a wonderful addition to your family in no time. Please give him a chance and a home.

Thank you Nala_Cat for sponsoring Drew until he finds his forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drew, a Byron Center Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Byron Center, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Byron Center.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Byron Center already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Byron Center breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Byron Center paves the way for another one to be saved.
