Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cinnamon is a sweetie, she is super affectionate and loves laps and sleeping people. She is even known to follow her people around like a dog. Cinnamon did not like the addition of babies in the last two years, her family felt it was best to find her a baby free home as the youngest was starting to crawl and pull tails. Cinnamon would love a home where she'd get lots of attention without the pitter patter of little feet. Teenagers would be fine. She does not like sharing attention with other animals and wants a family all to herself. Cinnamon was re-adopted in Feb. 2010 but her owner lost his home and could not bring her on his move.
Cinnamon is seven years old, she is a short hair dilute calico with green eyes. Cinnamon does eat prescription Hill's C/D to prevent crystals in her urine from several years ago but has not had any health issues in well over a year. A prescription card will be provided and a generous supply of C/D supplied to the adopter, average costs will be the same as any other high quality food, she does not overeat and is of average weight. Because of her age she cannot be declawed but is not a destructive cat as long as she has scratch pad and post. Cinnamon has been a bit unlucky in her life, she has been returned three times, once because she did not like the dogs in her first home, the second time because she did not like losing the attention when babies were born into the home and third because of her owner's financial situation. Yet she still loves people and loves getting all the attention she can.
Cinnamon is now available for viewing and adoption at the Petsmart in McHenry. Cinnamon's adoption fee has been reduced to $25. Adoption hours are Saturday and Sunday from 11 til 2 but arrangements can be made during the week by calling Amy at 815-814-3575/
