Rosebud's Story...
Rosebud is a female, black Lab mix. She is medium in size, weighs about 50 pounds, and was born approximately 2-10-10. Rosebud is a very happy dog and loves to play! She is not a barker, does not chew and enjoys her kennel/crate. Rosebud loves attention from her people. She is fine with cats and plays well with some dogs; however, she tends to be the pack leader and would do best in a home with either no other dogs or a non-dominant dog. Rosebud has been vet checked, tested negative for heartworm, spayed, vaccinated, and dewormed. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Rosebud in her foster home. Her adoption fee is $185. (D&RD)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosebud, a Owatonna Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
