Jenga's Story...
Hello there! I'm JENGA and I sure can't wait to meet you! I am an adorable black and white female. I'm spayed, up to date on shots, tested negative for both FIV and FeLv and I have been treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and I am of course housetrained/litterbox trained too! I'm approx. 4 yrs young as of March (2011).

Gosh, I was so incredibly scared when I was stuck behind bars at a high-kill shelter. I started pulling out my own hair because it was such an awful scare! My days were numbered because of lack of space. I was so sad to never have a chance at a real life...but then, just in time, A4A came and literally saved my life! Thank goodness! I am soooo lucky!

I am adorable, happy and healthy and searching for a home to call my own furr-ever! I love to sit on your lap, to snuggle and to sit in a sunny window from time to time. I am searching for a home that is calm, gentle and loving. I prefer a home with no dogs- as they really scare me. I do great with other cats. I do well with people who are kind, friendly and gentle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenga, a Xenia Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Xenia, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Xenia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Xenia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Xenia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Xenia paves the way for another one to be saved.
