My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello- I'm MATILDA! I'm a siamese mix. I am approx. 1 yrs young (3/2011). I am a spayed female, I am also up to date on shots, tested negative for FIV and FeLv, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms and I am housetrained/litterbox trained. I am gentle and sweet and I love to be petted and loved on. I will do best in a calm, relaxed household and a home that is loving. I prefer a home with no small kids (as I do not like to be chased). Other cats are totally fine- I do well with them and I am fine with calm dogs. My best friend in my foster home is a cat who was rescued on the same day, from the same shelter as me, his name is Pumpkin (and he is also listed for adoption now!). I seem to come from a very abusive past and therefore I would love to have a home that is calm and one who is patient with me to warm up. But if you pet me and give me postitive talk, I will come around and be so loving -- and I promise I will be forever devoted to you-- I just need to know I can trust you!

My life started out pretty scary- I was stuck behind the bars of a cold shelter cage and I was scheduled to be "euthanized" due to lack of space. My days were numbered....and then, just in time, A4A Rescue came and literally saved my life! Phew- I'm a REALLY lucky girl!

I'm happy, healthy and searching for a loving home to call my very own, furr-ever!
