Levi's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Levi's Story...
Levi is just 2 years of age. We actually consider the Dachshund to still be very puppy until they start maturing at 2 yrs. of age. He is great with kids and has lived with cats. He gets along with most other dogs but has been known to take exception with another male on occasion. He would probably do best as an only dog or in a household where any other dogs are females. He is full of happy energy, and just loves life. He's a true mini Dachshund so is about 11 pounds. He will be neutered, vaccinated and health checked as well as have a micro-chip prior to going to his new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Levi, a Tucson Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Tucson, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Tucson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tucson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tucson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tucson paves the way for another one to be saved.
