PUTTY's Story...
Hi there, kitty lovers! I’m Putty, the cutest putty-tat in town! I’m a gorgeous 7 year old domestic long hair, and I’m charming, too! My owner lost her home and had to move in with family who was allergic to me, so I ended up at a shelter. Now, I have a bright future thanks to Young at Heart! So, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I loooove my toys, especially mice and birds (catnip scented is especially nice)! I have my claws, but I’m a good boy and use my scratching post, plus I’ll let you clip my nails. I’ve never lived with dogs, but I’d probably adjust ok to a cat-savvy one. I am friendly and playful with other cats. I’m friendly and social with people, and have lived with small children as well. All in all, I’m a pretty easy-going guy who is affectionate and happy. I can’t wait to find my happily ever after. Are you my story-book ending?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PUTTY, a Palatine Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
