My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MAY1, 2011. OUR SWEET GATOR WAS ADOPTED LAST WEEK BY HIS FOSTER HOME. CONGRATS TO THE HORNS AND TO GATOR. THANK YOU MARY FOR FOSTERING HIM!!!

UPDATE: FEB 7TH 2011. GATOR IS DOING AMAZING AT RUNFREE IN LANGLEY AND IS NOW ACTIVELY LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME. WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ADULT FAMILY WHERE SOMEONE WORKS FROM HOME OR WORKS PART-TIME.

NOTE: This sweet pup came to us in early Jan from a shelter in Vancouver after he was found in his kennel paralyzed from the waist down. Can West diagnosed him with fibrocartilagenous embolism (stroke). This is a rare condition in pups and because Gator rec'd help soon after the event, he is already 90% back to normal. Gator is a VERY smart pup and is ready now to take on the world...LOL. Gator will need help with his house-training but has come a LONG way.

ABOUT GATOR.....

GATOR is a 4 month old, 24 lb. German Shepherd/Border Collie cross. Gator landed in a local shelter as a stray so his history is unknown. Gator has some special needs and we will be posting more about that as soon as possible. This special boy loves people and playing with other dogs. He is a VERY smart pup who learns at a much faster pace than many other pups his age.

Gator will not be adopted to a home with children. He is still learning when and when not to use his pointy little teeth. He will need someone home part of the day who have experience raising this breed. Application, home-visit and references are part of our adoption process. Please visit our website www.crossourpawsrescue.com for details. A HUGE thank you to Run Free Canine Ctr for sponsoring and fostering him.
