3/10/11 - Studies show that owning a pet can dramatically reduce stress levels, lower blood pressure and ward off depression. So the way I look at it, you can make numerous visits to several different types of doctors trying to figure out if you are stressed and need Valium, have high blood pressure and need Beta-blocker or are depressed and need an anti-depressant. OR, you can adopt me. Which will it be? I myself am a little stressed and wish I had money to adopt a pet. Im a sweet little lady who truly enjoys having a lap to sit in and someone to hold me. I love getting attention and the sound of a soothing voice telling me what a good girl I am. I am deathly afraid of children, so will not be able to be adopted to a home where they live or visit often. After what Ive been through, you cant blame me for being on edge. See, I lived in a puppy mill pretty much all my life until I recently became unemployed. This was due to the fact that I had already given my greedy owners as many puppies as my poor body could handle and were of no use to them any longer. Well, thats fixed now and all Im looking for is a nice home, nice family, nice food and soft bed. I will give you back all you give me and more and save you from the high price of medicine.
