Aniken's Story...
Hello World,

My name is Aniken but my foster dad sometimes calls me Ani and when he does I know I'm doing something I shouldn't be! I am all Wiem and all puppy for sure. Although I've been attending behavioral classes and have adapted well to the basics I still have a few issues to overcome. In my opinion every animal smaller than me is a toy and cats are food on the move. I also need to be crated whenever there's at least not one eye on me for I cannot be trusted to not chew on the furniture, doors, window sills etc. Anything on the floor is for chewing, anything on the counter to me is for eating.

Now for the good stuff! I'm the most handsome dog in the world. My heart is huge and I have so much love to give. I'm a great at snuggling and must be touching you at all times when you're home. I'm always at your side or under your feet and you better make room for me on the couch, the chair, or the bed. I'm great at being crated and as long as I have my toys and blankie I'm happy to stay in there when you need me to.

I'm pretty low key energy wise while in the house as long as I get a 3-4 mile walk a day. I'm very good on a leash as long as I know who's the boss so you'll have to lead the way. I love car rides and going to Petsmart because I get so much attention. The snow is my favorite thing right now and I love to play king of the hill on every pile of snow we can find.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aniken, a Grand Haven Weimaraner puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner puppy from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
