Piper's Story...
Piper is a 6 yr old longhaired declawed famale. She came to us from another rescue where she'd been turned in for inappropriate urination. A trip to the vets found a bladder infection. She was treated and has not had any issues. She is a friendly girl who likes to be petted and brushed. Piper is a talker.

  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bainbridge Island breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bainbridge Island paves the way for another one to be saved.
