BEN's Story...
My name is Ben and I am one sweet pup. I am good with the other dogs, cats, and I really love kids. I am a little thin right now but my foster Mom is working on that. I like to walk myself on a leash. I know that is not the way to do it but I am only 8 months old and still growing. Would you like to adopt me and I promise to be the best friend you ever will have.

My pictures do not do my LOOKS justice. I am really a handsome fella in person.

Check back often for more updates as my fosters get to know me better. Fill out an application today with the kind folks at GSGRR and you'll be glad you did. www.gulfsouthgoldens.com

A note from Ben's foster mom on 9/27/06....

Ben is really sweet!! He loves the kids and other animals. He walks good on leash and your average velcro dog. His does have some more growing to do, but all around a laid back pup. Wonderful news that we have learned since his first day of arrival...Ben is housebroken. Whoray for Ben!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BEN, a Bourg Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Bourg, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Bourg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bourg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bourg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bourg paves the way for another one to be saved.
