Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Pebbles (red), shown here with her best friend Heaven, is a sweet little girl that is about 6-8 months of age. She weighs about 25 pounds. She loves people and children; is great with other dogs and cats. You cannot help but fall in love with Pebbles!

Update from VT foster mom 3/19/11:
We are Pebbles and Heaven, two bonded foster sisters being take care of in Castleton, Vermont. Heaven, a beautiful brindle colored lab mix, was found dumped on the side of the road, extremely emaciated, and looking much younger than she was. Pebbles, a beautiful red lab mix, who looks like a little fox, was rescued from filthy conditions with her sisters and all had massive skin infections. Pebbles was the only one that survived. Both pups were pulled from a kill shelter and were very scared. Both Pebbles and Heaven are a joy to be around and are very smart. Each is timid in her own way and relies on the other for assurance. They have adjusted well to their situation and are thriving together every day. Both pups love to go on walks and play in the snow and they walk on the leash quite nicely. They are almost house broken and pick up training at a high rate. Within the first week each pup was able to walk up and down a stairway, walk on the leash, sit, and sit before their meals or while being put on the leash. Pebbles has learned to shake and both are learning down. The girls are very calm and love to play and snuggle with each other. The love to snuggle and be pet by their human companions as well. They keep each other company and are a love to be around.
