Geordie is an unbelievably sweet boy who is back with NLOL through no fault of his own. This adorable dog was transferred to NLOL from Chicago Animal Care and Control back in fall 2006 when he was just a little 5 month old puppy. He was originally adopted in early 2007, but was picked up as a stray dog at the beginning of April 2010. After all efforts were made to find his former adoptive parent, NLOL has concluded that he was dumped and we are seeking a real forever home for him.
This kid is as sweet as they come. Not only is Geordie unbelievably good looking, he's also smart as a whip. He loves to meet new dog pals and quickly will roll on his back for belly scratches from his human friends. Despite his time on the street, he's still as open and engaging as ever and we love having him back with us!
Geordie appears to be housetrained as well as skilled in some basic obedience commands. He walks fairly well on leash but could use some brushing-up in that department. Geordie would make a great addition to just about any family. He is dog tolerant, people-friendly and we think he may have it in him to be kitty-friendly too. While he has male and female dog friends, we would prefer to place him either as an only dog or with a suitable female pal.
