WHITEY + MIGHTY's Story...
We are 2 of the cutest kittens ever! both boys around 4 months old, and brothers to boot. Why were we abandoned at a shelter? All we want is a home and lots of toys + playtime! WHITEY says: I am probably an OSH mix; and I have a gray spot on the top of my head. All the rest of me is white! MIGHTY says: I am the fire-engine orange boy! with a loving personality. We will entertain yo u so well with kitten antics you won't even remember to watch TV. And we will love you up after we are all played out. We would love a home either together or with another young cat for companionship. View our pictures on: cuddlycats.petfinder.com, or just keep watching for them to be posted> Come see us soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WHITEY + MIGHTY, a Germantown Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
