Hi there! You may remember me from a couple of weeks back. I have been with BREW for a couple of months now, but wasn't available for awhile because I was undergoing treatment for a mild heartworm infection. I'm done with my treatments now and feeling a whole lot better, so I'm ready to find my forever family!
As I'm starting to feel better, I'm getting more active and more of my silly beagle personality is coming out, but I think I'm pretty mellow overall. I do like to play, especially chase, with other dogs. I also enjoy a toy now and then, but otherwise I'm pretty content to just hang out on the couch with my family. My foster mom and dad think I lived outside because I didn't have any clue when it came to housetraining and my coat was very brittle and dry when BREW got me. I'm still working on the housetraining (I get kind of distracted outside by all the smells and forget sometimes to do my business), but my coat isn't so itchy now and I'm enjoying the good life -- lots of pets, soft places to nap and lots of treats!
I'm most at ease when I'm outside too -- but who doesn't love running around the yard and sniffing as much as possible? I also enjoy getting out and about to meet new people of all sizes and to socialize with other dogs, though it's been a long winter and I haven't gotten to do this as much as I'd like. I'm hoping that spring brings some good walking weather and, if I'm lucky, the home I've been waiting for.
