Rosie's Story...
Rogue Dispatch, Rosie, is a 4 year old black cat tolerant female, who retired due to a broken leg on 12/5/2010. She did not need surgical repair but wore a cast for six weeks. She is nearly 100% on her leg. She is just a perfect dog with great house manners, she is out of the crate, cat friendly and good with children. Rogue is quiet and calm and bonds very quickly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Harrisburg Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Harrisburg, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Harrisburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
