Rene's Story...

Rene is one of the most stunning cats at RMFR. Her harlequin like facial markings makes her look like a work of art. She was found as a kitten and had a home as an only cat for 4 years. Sadly, a few years ago she was brought to the shelter, because her owner did not want her to be declawed, as required by the landlord. These days you will find Rene playing in the RMFR secure backyard or resting in a comfortable cat bed. When one of Rene's volunteer friends calls out her name, she runs up to her joyfully. Then she rubs her body against the volunteer's legs, as if to say: "You are my friend, let's play!" Rene loves to chase the laser light. She also loves to sleep on top of the warm dryers. She purrs when you pet her gently behind the ears. She will let you know when she has had enough. She does not care for other cats and if they get too close, she runs off. Rene would blossom in a loving home as an only pet. Rene would love a home of her own please give this beautiful girl a chance.
