Madison is a sweet senior looking for a loving, forever home. She is about 8-10 years young and is an EXTREMELY sweet and mellow girl who just loves to hang out with her human friends. Madison is not shy a girl and prefers the company of humans to a hiding spot under a bed. Madison LOVES being in a single animal home and will greet and give affection to everyone she meets. Madison is a very intelligent girl who loves to be brushed, petted and to play with her toys. She especially loves it when you get down to her level to play ball, she will hit the ball back to you and challenge you to get the ball past her super-fast paws.
But, what Madison LOVES the most is to just relax with her human companion. Her mellowness is the PURRFECT stress reducer after a hard day’s work or a long day on the road. And to show her gratitude for all that you do for her, Madison will lovingly PURR and maybe even rest her head in your hand or on your arm and take a catnap while watching T.V.
Madison loves to snuggle and will rub you with her head to get some love. Though she does not like to be held she will let you pick her up very gently to groom her. Instead of being held, Madison prefers her human companion to greet her by just lying on the floor and playing or talking to her. Madison is a very brave cat and with the right loving care, she will allow you to bathe her in the kitchen sink and vacuum the carpet without getting too scared. After a nice bath and a good drying off with a towel she will lay around the house showing off her clean coat. I noticed that she does appreciate the bath once it’s over and always seems much happier too.
Madison is a very LOVING and clean girl who would enjoy nothing better than a nice LOVING home to finally call her very own.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. In July of 2009 we joined together with fellow rescuers on a mission to save a pack of about 30 dogs from the Fort McDowell Casino area and by the end of the year we had rescued over 80 dogs from there! AZ Happy Tails is committed to the rescue and placement of stray, abandoned, and e-listed animals as well. We think all pets deserve caring and compassionate homes, and the chance to live healthy, happy lives in safe environments. We strive to educate and raise awareness of the importance of animal respect and appreciation.
We have our adoptable pets available to meet on Saturdays at Tempe Pet Club, located on the NW corner of Guadalupe and McClintock. Please email us to confirm if you'd like to see a specific pet!

If you are interested in adopting a pet from us please contact us via e-mail. We will get you our adoption questionnaire to fill out an return for our review. We will then do a meet and greet with the pet including a visit to your home to make sure the pet feels comfortable and is in a safe environment!
