Malley's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Malley's Story...
Malley is an extremely dedicated companion to those he bonds with. He loves other dogs and puppies, and is the meeter/greeter of our newcomers. He welcomes them in with kindness and gentleness. He absolutely LOVES going for a ride in the car, and playing outside. Someone was not nice to him and tormented him in his kennel, making him crate/food aggressive which put him at risk of euthanasia. Due to that, he suffers from "stranger-danger" , and may be crate aggressive (although both have significantly diminished). He has lived with our CEO for nearly 2 years, where positive reinforcement has been used throughout his rehabilitation. He has progressed extremely well, both his crate and food aggression are now mild to non-existant. He welcomes people into our home with friendship and affection, waiting for a pat on the head. He is crate trained, though it is not necessary and housebroken. He likes to cuddle and get his hugs. He is looking for a very dog savvy home with someone who understands his behaviors, have the patience to give him the time he needs to adjust, and who will give him the love he deserves. Malley is a wonderful boy who has a lot to offer and is willing to dedicate himself to his people.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malley, a Oxford Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Oxford, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Oxford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oxford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oxford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oxford paves the way for another one to be saved.
