Daisy's Story...
Treat Me Nice!

Looking for a knockout redhead? Ann Margret has nothing on me! I'm a sweet, medium sized 5 Year old girl looking for someone to Love Me Tender! I'm new to this but friends convinced me to give it a try!
My turn-offs: Fleas and ticks, canned food and the word "no".
Turn-ons: Long walks, Teddy Bears (who are smart enough to let me win at tug-of-war) and fine
food (hold the fried peanut butter sandwiches please!).

I'm up to date on my vaccines, spayed, housetrained, friendly and pleasantly low key. I've been to the Heartbreak Hotel and have no plans of returning. If you're Lonesome Tonight please ask for me (Daisy). I'm more than just a Hound Dog! If you think I might be your Good Luck Charm, please apply to adopt me - It's Now or Never!

If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Daisey, please complete an adoption application by visiting our web site, clicking the "adoption" tab, reading the guidelines, and submitting an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
