Mikey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Mikey's Story...
Mikey is a darling little shepherd mix with Rhodesian Ridgeback colors who was born on Christmas Day, so he is now the perfect age to start training.

He seems to be housebroken already, and is great with my other dogs, with cats and with children.

Mikey is likely to grow into a medium sized dog – maybe 40 – 50 pounds, but who knows!

He is social, friendly and darling, and very well-mannered with a good nature.

Mikey’s adoption covers his neuter, all of his shots including bordetella and rabies, and anything else he needs he needs to be happy, healthy little family buddy.

To meet Mikey (and our other adoptable critters), please email dsollohub@ffres.com or call 858-391-1037.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mikey, a Poway Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Poway, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy from a breeder in Poway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Poway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Poway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Poway paves the way for another one to be saved.
