Bonnie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bonnie's Story...
Bonnie is the most loving 3-year-old Black Lab girl you could ever hope to meet! She is extremely gentle and sweet - can even be trusted to be careful with an infant lying on the floor! If your hands are too busy for petting, Bonnie will be happy to snuggle up next to you, and mash her forehead against you in her version of a hug. Though she is crate trained, she has impeccable house manners, and is easily able to spent many hours unsupervised without causing any trouble. Bonnie is eager to please and very smart, quickly adapting to new rules and environments.

Bonnie adores children, and gets along well with cats and other dogs. She enjoys rides in the car and outings in the dog-park, making friends wherever she goes. Bonnie has the perfect energy level - ready to play or go for a long walk, but calm enough to not be overwhelming even in a small home. This precious girl is looking for her FOREVER home. Do you have room in your heart for Bonnie? If you would like to learn more about her, please contact us at forrescuetn@gmail.com and request an application to adopt Bonnie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bonnie, a Huntsville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
