Kali's Story...
Meet Kali!! Kali's pictures really do not do her justice! She is very beautiful and has the best personality. Kali was turned into the shelter when her owner was going through cancer treatment and could no longer take care of her. You can tell she was loved very much. Kali is about 4 years old. She is a possible Cairn Terrier/ Llasa Mix. She weighs about 18lbs. She has been very patient waiting for her forever home and has her own room at the vets office where she is boarding. She has been there for a couple of months and she thinks it is past time for her to get her own family to love her. Of course you would never here her complain about any of it. She is such a good girl and is so funny. When I went to take her pictures she was so excited and of course wanted to play first. She would cuddle in my lap and then jump down to play some more. She is up to date on her shots and is spayed. Kali is ready for her loving and forever home! (STAR)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kali, a Staunton Cairn Terrier/Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Lhasa Apso for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
