Bells's Story...
Bells is a black lab mix who looks like a black lab with floppy ears and a white belly. She is a little over one year old and about 52 pounds. She is an extremely kind-natured, lovable dog who likes to snuggle, lie in the sun, watch people and animals out the window, chase balls, and eat peanut butter. She gets along very well with other dogs and children with not an ounce of aggression. She needs a family who can simply provide a new home and as much love as she will give you and your family.

~As of April 1st 2011 dog adoption fees will be $200.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bells, a Jacksonville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
