My story

Loki here and I’m looking for a home. If you like Beagles, I could definitely be “pick of the litter”. If you don’t know Beagles, we are a special breed indeed. A Beagle follows his nose at every opportunity; there isn’t a trash can around that I miss! That is the reason I need a fenced yard to keep me safe. My energy level works well with an active family – no couch potatoes for me. I’ll need lots of walks and play time; if you’re up to that, so am I! I would like attend some obedience classes and I guarantee that I will graduate head of the class. Despite what some people say, Beagles are very smart! In fact, I am so smart that I already know lots of tricks ... I can sit, beg, and flip my ears back! Bet you don’t know too many Beagles who can do that. I get along with other dogs and would love to have a four-legged brother or sister. I’m a rough and tumble kind of guy with tons of personality. At two years old, I am young enough to want to play but old enough to understand the word “no” (well, most of the time anyway – just don’t say it too often). We Beagles love our pack so a home where I am not alone all day would best suit me. I’m a little shy at first but in no time at all I warm up. I’ve been in at least two homes already so I can’t wait to be in the home where I truly belong ... and will belong forever. I would be happy to be the one to brighten your day with my charm and undying devotion. I promise you that I will be the best canine pal you could hope for.
