3-11-051 Carmen - female, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, altered, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), 4yr, ~25bs, Cock-a-poo (Cocker Spaniel/Poodle).
Carmen is non-shedding and hypoallergenic so she may be ideal for allergy sufferers. Because she does not shed she will need to be brushed daily and taken to a professional groomer every 6-8wks to maintain a puppy cut. Neglecting grooming and not being properly groomed by a professional can result in painful matting of the fur.
Carmen is a good natured, friendly, polite little dog. She is good with other dogs but tends to try and be a little bossy so a home on her own or perhaps a submissive male dog would be best, she is fine with cats and good with kids but is better suited to a home with no small kids. Carmen is house trained and crate trained, she can be given free roam of her home or crated when left alone. She is fine to be left alone for typical 9-5 work hours. She is a nicely mannered dog with some training but she could use more work on basic obedience. She likes to sniff a lot when on walks and isn’t very difficult to walk. She enjoys going for daily walks with her people and cuddling in the mean time. She would likely be fine in an apartment with enough exercise, she’d love a house with a fenced yard where she can spend time sitting in the sun now that spring has arrived.
