Quigley-Adopted's Story...
Quigley and his three littermates were rescued from the middle of a street by our volunteers.
He is currently at a foster home with his littermate Kodo where he is learning the basic commands and working on his house training skills. He is a more reserved puppy at first and more quiet. He enjoys sitting on your lap but doesn't like to be picked up and is slower to approach when called. He needs a little more time to warm up and will require a little patience and someone to be gentle with him. He likes playing with Kodo but if it gets to be too much he will
back off and lay low. Quigley definitely enjoys playing with toys and the stuffed ones are his favorites. Birth date 12/25/10

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quigley-Adopted, a Detroit Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
