My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE 3/25/2011: Watson checked out great at his vet visit. He weighed 13.2 lbs. He is deaf so he will need to be kept 100% indoors. Other than that and being cross-eyed he is a very healthy boy. He also was brushed and had a sanitary clip to help keep his rear clean since he has such long hair. We have lots more pictures of the gorgeous guy. He was a total gentleman the entire vet visit and didn't even give them a fuss for his microchip. Please e-mail us if you are interested in Watson.
3/21/2011: Watson just arrived to rescue. He is in foster care this week but will be at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville this weekend. Watson is a 2 year old, already neutered, very large, super affectionate and loving, long haired Ragdoll. He was relinquished by college students who had been housing him in their apartement when their friend was required to give him up. They also were not allowed pets in their apartment and had been trying to find a safe place for Watson to go. They told us that he was a Ragdoll but we do not have any paperwork. He is getting his vet work done this week and will be ready for adoption next weekend. His previous care takers also told us that he was DEAF. We haven't had enough time to evaluate him so we do not know this yet. He has blue eyes that are slightly cross-eyed. Watson is extremely affectionate and doesn't seem to be bothered by much. Please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com for an adoption application or you stop by PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville from 11am-3pm each and every Sat and Sun. Our adoption coordinator, Robin, will be there to answer any questions you may have about our adoption process. All of our cats and kittens are vet checked, leukemia tested, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to adoption. Our adoption fee is $100 per cat or kitten to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs.
