Lily's Story...
location: Eustis, FL
Lilly was born November 12, 2010. She was one of 5 female puppies born to Snookie. Lilly's mother is 11 pounds, but Lilly might be a little bigger when full grown. Lilly is the brave one of the bunch, and the explorer. She will sound the alarm if she thinks anything or anyone strange is coming. Lilly also likes to be picked up and sit on your lap at night to watch TV; she likes to snuggle in and take a little nap. Lilly sleeps in a crate at night and has been keeping a clean crate. She runs outside in the morning and does her business with few mistakes in the house. Lilly is a happy little soul who loves everyone she meets, whether it be human, dogs or cats. She loves to run and play with her sisters, too. Now all Lilly needs is a forever home. To see more pix of Lilly and her siblings please click here.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Jacksonville Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
