Rocky's Story...
Who ever the person is that has the 13 1/2 shoe that left this poor innocent boy out in the cold I hope you can live with yourself. Which as we all know in rescue I doubt it. This poor boy was dumped and left to fend for himself with just a bag of food in the freezing cold. If anyone can help donate to vet and help us care for him he would appreciate it. Could you imagine being alone on Valentines day. He was blessed and slept with a warm blankie. Our dear friend Brian came and named Rocky and took him under his wing and bought him a beautiful collar and loves him dearly. He instantly earned trust with Brian and loves his treats. He is only about 6-7 months and is very very sweet. If anyone can adopt him please fill out an application on our website and start the adoption process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Burr Ridge American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Burr Ridge, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Burr Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burr Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burr Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burr Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
