Timber- Adopted's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Timber- Adopted's Story...
Timber is about as close to the perfect dog as you'll ever find.
She's housetrained, crate trained, good with other dogs, good with cats, great with children of all ages, knows sit, is good on a leash, and is young, but is past all the difficult puppy stages.
She is very sweet and affectionate, but is also independent. She will gladly accept all the petting you'll offer, but is also quite content to just lay near you.
It's hard to be sure what breed she is, but she looks like she may be a basenji/lab mix. She weighs 40 pounds, is full grown, and is 2 1/2 years old.
She is a very alert dog, and always knows what's going on, and with those great ears, she hears everything.
She likes to sleep on the bed, curled next to you, but can also sleep in a crate.
There will be a $100 adoption fee, and she will be spayed, UTD on shots, Heartworm tested and on Heartworm prevention and Frontline.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timber- Adopted, a Nashville Basenji/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basenji/Labrador Retriever for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Basenji/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basenji/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Basenji/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
